We are the San Diego Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI), a nonprofit 501c(3) organization dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Our San Diego chapter has over 55 members including private, charter, corporate, airline and military pilots; student pilots and flight instructors; aerospace engineers; airport managers and General Aviation business staff; flight attendants; air traffic controllers; and aviation enthusiasts. We focus on networking, career development and mentoring, fun events and tours, and are huge supporters of S.T.E.M (science, technology, engineering and math).

Michelle Hylton is the Territory Manager for Upper Limit Aviation with Southern Utah University, which offers students the option of getting helicopter and/or airplane pilot ratings as part of their Associates or Bachelors Degree. Whether students want to fly out of French Valley Airport in Murrieta, CA or on site in Cedar City, UT, they can help!
