Tiffany Fine is an FAA Air Traffic Controller at the Palomar Airport. She is also a pilot with a commercial multi-engine rating. Tiffany has a degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a second degree in Air Traffic Management. “I love my community of aviators and I am proud to serve my community.”

We are the San Diego Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI), a nonprofit 501c(3) organization dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
Our San Diego chapter has over 55 members including private, charter, corporate, airline and military pilots; student pilots and flight instructors; aerospace engineers; airport managers and General Aviation business staff; flight attendants; air traffic controllers; and aviation enthusiasts. We focus on networking, career development and mentoring, fun events and tours, and are huge supporters of S.T.E.M (science, technology, engineering and math).

Local Girls Introduced to Aviation in Annual Event
The San Diego Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) has announced their annual Girls in Aviation Day for girls 8 to 16, to introduce them to some of the many possibilities available in a career in aviation. The event is Friday, Sept 23, 2016 at the Miramar Air Show.
